Possible improvement for creating the test class if it does not yet exist.

We have a (custom) class template for new test files that we use. It has some references and a header already set.

It would be a great improvement for us if we would be able to set the class template that should be used when TestCop creates a new test file.

I've looked at the code and it seems like a small change, however I have no experience with the FileTemplateManager, so I dont know if custom classes can also be found this way.

Code I looked at was :

ResharperHelper.CreateFileWithinProject

Template classTemplate = FileTemplatesManager.Instance.GetFileTemplatesForActions(context).Where(c => c.Description == "Class").FirstOrDefault();
        if (classTemplate == null)
        {
            AppendLineToOutputWindow("Template for 'Class' not found");
        }

Would be awesome if we could have a textbox in the options page to set the class name.

Do you think this is viable?

Thanks.

Bjorn.

Nice, look forward to having this feature, in combination with the fix for the keyboard shortcut being overwritten (I need my ctrl+g for goto line) ;)

Oh fyi, I am using version 7.1 as we are stuck with VS2010 for a while at work.
